Satterfield, Chavis, & Sons, LLC was established in March of 2005. Owners Mike Satterfield and Nathan Chavis have over 50 years experience in residential carpentry and construction management. Between the two of them they have built thousands of homes during their careers. They have also established invaluable relationships with realtors, subcontractors and vendors, and other local builders in the Columbia market. The company structure is two-fold and explained below. Satterfield, Chavis & Sons, LLC is a custom homebuilder with the knowledge and experience to construct any type of residential structure.

Our plan currently is to build approximately eight to ten homes a year. Our focus has presently been the in the Chapin and Dutch Fork area.

With such strong emphasis on a small geographical area of Columbia, we are able to have a direct one on one relationship with our clients which allows for maximum supervision of the construction process and constant communication. We are committed to providing exceptional quality and a unique homebuilding experience.

Satterfield, Chavis & Sons, LLC is also a construction services company. We specialize in residential framing, vinyl siding, hardiplank siding, vinyl boxing, and interior finish carpentry. The crews are actually employed by Satterfield, Chavis, & Sons, LLC. This allows us to control the timing and quality of the framing, siding, and interior trim in the construction process. Our services are offered to builders in the Columbia and surrounding markets. The company’s gross revenue for Calendar Year 2006 was over $1.7 million in the construction services aspect alone.
